You just need to ‘Forgive’

May 8th, 2009

There’s a song I know which says, “Forgiveness.  Such a simple word to say, but I’ve been witness how easy pride gets in the way.”

How true.  I’m sure we have all experienced the need to both give and receive forgiveness.  Mistakes are such a part of life, that we all ought to be well practiced at forgiveness, finding it as easy as our A,B,C’s.  Yet this ’simple’ thing is often avoided, and so often the cause of hurt and break-ups and pain and fighting.

That is why I love this design.  There is nothing fancy to it, just like there is nothing fancy to the idea.  All it says is ‘forgive’.  All we need to do is forgive.  If we can just do that…. imagine what our world could be like.

Forgive.

A Fresh Look at Going Green

April 30th, 2009

Sure, everyone is talking Green these days, but one shop, Fresh Green Tees has something most shops don’t:  Unique designs on a variety of great CafePress.com products.  The We Want Electric Cars design looks great on a variety of T-Shirts.  The Be Green Along with Me design looks particularly good on the organic cotton Tee.  And you are sure to get lots of comments if you bring this coffee mug in to work or school.  Whether you are looking for reusable grocery bags, buttons, refrigerator magnets, or a huge variety of shirts, Fresh Green Tees should be on your list of shops to visit.

My Family Loves Me, they told me about Jesus

April 15th, 2009

If you have never been to At Ease Tees’ CafePress shop, you should definately go there and check things out.  They have a wide variety of uplifting designs, Christian themed designs, and even Custom products available.  That’s right, I said Custom.  At Ease Tees has a entire section of Custom designs that is on display to give you an idea on what he can do.

My Family Loves MeThe design I decided to review this month was not out of his custom designs, but out of his “Someone Loves You” designs.  The design simply says “My Family Love’s me, they told me about Jesus”.  At Ease Tees has used the all encompassing heart as a symbol for love, with is especially true for this design.  I think it is important for everyone to be taught about Jesus and the sacrificing he did for us.  If you want to see a wide range of Christian themed designs, At Ease Tees is the place to go.

Gutter Bunnies?

April 5th, 2009

You know, I’ve heard of Easter Bunnies, Little Bunny Foo Foo, and Buns of Steel, but Gutter Bunnies  was a new one for me.

You’ve seen them.  They’re common fauna in the cities.  The little spandexed derrieres bobbing up and down as they push the pedals on their bicycles, wobbling along in the gutters as the traffic whizzes by mere inches away from them on their commute to work, are the few, the dauntless, the bicycle commuters.

Brave souls.  My bike hides in the corner of the garage with an apparently permanent flat tire.  It doesn’t get out much.

But, these stubborn, determined people we make fun of as they bob their way through rain and impatient guided missiles on their way to work every day are doing their part to reduce global warming, so give them a little safety zone and and maybe a shirt for Christmas and, if you are one, wear it with pride.

Be Green, Not Mean

March 24th, 2009

Fresh Green Tees is the name of a shop in Cafepress devoted to environmental issues. One of the designs in this shop, “Be Green, Not Mean,” is really simple and to the point. We should all consider how “green” our actions are and how they will affect the rest of our world, and not just consider what we want. This is a simple, bold statement that any environmentally conscious person should enjoy displaying.

Violation: Addiction to Online Games

March 18th, 2009

Violation - Addiction to Online Games

Are you playing right now?  This great bag has what most people are thinking - Violation: Addiction to Online Games.  A cute meter maid type of design with her writing out a ticket for your violation adorns this tote.  There are plenty of other products you can choose from at Lorilei’s shop.  A lot of us are reminded that sitting on the social networks or shopping pages are just games to some.  Husbands call the shopping and social networks “games” for the wives, and the wives call the social networks and card games and multiplayer games “games” for the husbands.  It seems we are always on the computer nowadays playing “games”.

You may find yourself getting a ticket if you have parked in front of the computer screen too long.  Happy Gaming :)

My Cat is a Rescue - by Little Blue Pony

March 18th, 2009

My Cat is a Rescue

My Cat is a Rescue Shirt.  This great shirt found on Little Blue Pony’s site reminds everyone that animals need rescuing from the shelters.  Are you thinking about getting a pet?  Head on down to a shelter and you will find a lot of friendly loving animals to choose from.

We have 2 cats and both were rescued.  You can not believe the loving attitude these 2 have.  They follow us everywhere in the morning and are constantly rubbing against your legs.  One is content if she has a lap to sit on, the other is content to “guard” a hallway or door depending on which room you are in.  This cute shirt with its paw prints was an easy choice to review.

Little Blue Pony also has many other great designs and shirts on the site for any cat, dog, rabbit, or horse lover or rescuer.  The site isn’t limited to rescue shirts though, as they have several other great designs, so check it out.

Tulsa Tees

March 6th, 2009

Tulsa Tees is a great shop if you are looking for a good variety of t-shirts.  Designed by a shopkeeper in Tulsa, Oklahoma, you can find some great Oklahoma themed items.  I particularly like the Little Tulsan design featuring the Tulsa skyline in primary colors and a bright yellow sun on infant and child size clothing.

But Tulsa Tees is not just for Okies.  There are designs for geeks and gamers, and environmental themed designs such as Wind Power which allows you to show your support for alternative energy with the statement “Wind Power turns me on.”  With slogans based on politics, humor, and other topics, there is something for everyone here.  Finally, Tulsa Tees is not just for t-shirts.  These same great sayings can be found on coffee mugs, greeting cards, and many other useful products.  So take some time to visit Tulsa Tees shop at Cafepress.  You will be glad you did.

The Element of Humor - Tulsa Tees

February 18th, 2009

The Element of Humor

If you have a chance to go to the Tulsa Tees shop, you will be glad you did.  They have a pretty good selection of various designs.  The designs I was most interested in right of the start were their “Geeks & Gamers” designs.

This section has a variety of neat shirts that you would certainly love if you were a self-described geek or in to gaming.  The shirt I decided to review on is similar to a couple of their other shirts.  It has the LOL (laugh out loud) text in the middle of a white box along with “The Element of Humor” around the box.  So now that LOL looks like one of the Elements in a Periodic Table of Elements.  They have even given the new element an atomic number and weight just like you see on normal tables.

Their shirts are well designed and look good on both white and black.  They have obviously taken a lot of time and care putting these together.

Check out their site if you have time, and be sure to look at all their Geek & Gamer gear, you won’t be disappointed.
